Golden Wheels Health And Safety Plan

We at Golden Wheel have taken enhanced health and safety measures for You, our other Guests, and Team Members. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting Alaska's Hometown Jamboree. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting Alaska's Hometown Jamboree, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Help keep each other healthy and safe. These health and safety protocols are a living plan that will be adjusted as needed based on the implementation of new programs, guidance from the CDC or mandates from federal, state and local government agencies.  Though extra safety precautions have been taken, should circumstances be deemed hazardous by local agencies for our vendors, staff, volunteers or guests to attend, it may be necessary to cancel. The safety of festival guests, vendors, staff and volunteers is the top priority, which will cap attendance to allow adequate social distancing.  Golden Wheel is asking that anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 please remain home and guests are strongly encouraged to wear masks.
